This is a really fun set, it's on the smaller side at 370 pieces, but that also mean for a younger builder it's a bit more accessible. It's also one of the smaller sets to have RC control and power functions....

Yes, you have to read carefully to reverse the direction of one of the motors. The instruction is on page 65, instruction 100, item one. The two little black sliders beneath the joysticks need to be pointing in opposite directions. Thank you to the reviewer who pointed this out and saved me a lot of grief. This is a sturdy toy and a pleasure to build and use....

My 7 year old grandson put it together almost completely by himself, so the instructions are very straightforward. It's a very fun toy to play with once assembled too. He ran it all over our downstairs. The receiver is very strong as well. He could be 20-30 feet away and have no loss of signal. I am extremely satisfied with the value and overall quality....
